Presbytery Office Manager's Assistant
Presbytery Office Manager's Assistant (POMA) is an indispensable office productivity tool tailored for the day-to-day running of Presbytery offices. POMA allows you to organize and update clergy, church, committee and laity information and communicate easily with all or a select group of your presbytery contacts.
Over two dozen presbyteries from New Jersey and Florida to California and Washington use POMA. Many presbyteries are switching to POMA because their in-house programs failed to work over the long term with volunteer support. Others have switched because their program was too cumbersome and POMA is the only commercial program designed specifically for presbyteries.

The Rev. Dr. Paige M. McRight, Executive Presbyter of the Central Florida Presbytery, Presbyterian Church (USA) says: "POMA is such a gift! It makes life so much easier for my staff and for the committees. It's easy to enter data and keep it accurate."
Rev. David Cassie, former Presbytery Executer of the West Jersey Presbytery, Presbyterian Church (USA) says: "POMA has become a vital part of our daily work as well as of our long-range mission planning. Its use has saved us countless hours and improved our communication with our churches. From this one data source we can now publish and keep current our Presbytery Directory, generate many kinds of reports, organize our mailing labels and execute comparative analysis for many of our committees. I cannot think of a single more important tool assisting us in the work we do on behalf of Christ's Church!"
Debbie Dawson, Administrative Assistant of the Presbytery of Central Washington says: "The POMA program is quickly becoming the first place I turn for information. Everything I need is quickly accessed at the click of my mouse. Whether I just need specific information about a church or need to print labels for a presbytery meeting mailing, the database is clearly laid out for easy use, and no more duplicate labels. The technical support is wonderful as well. Your technician can easily speak to the database-proficient user as well as those more technically challenged. I love this new program and would highly recommend it to any presbytery office looking to make their database more proficient."
Bobbi Hoffman, Administrative Assistant of the Presbytery of Plains and Peaks says: "I am responsible for keeping records for our Presbytery in order and up-to-date, such as labels for various (and many) mailings, directories, and information. I am very pleased with POMA, which makes it possible to make corrections at the click of a button. The directory used to take me a few weeks to produce and now it takes a day. The program is very user friendly, even for those who are not all that computer literate. I am very pleased with the database."
Rev. Eloise Cowherd, former Nominating Committee Chairperson of The Presbytery of West Jersey says:
"This database has been a tremendous help to our Nominating Committee. We now have a more useful list of our clergy and an ever-expanding list of laity. We can now keep better track of who is serving on committees, and who is not. We can quickly sort by gender or ethnicity, keep a record of the requests and preferences expressed by potential nominees, determine which churches need to be encouraged to submit names, and develop profiles of how representative our committees really are."
