Established in 1988, we produce award-winning educational, fundraising and documentary television programming. We've produced programming for the United States Department of Education, the Presbyterian Church USA, billion dollar corporations, foundations, hospitals, schools, churches, and businesses. In the last few years we've taped on-location from New Jersey to California, and in Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Mexico.
I have a unique relationship to the Presbyterian denomination. During my studies at Princeton Theological Seminary I became involved with the former Division of Mass Media in NYC, and served a media internship with the former Northern California Council of Churches. Following graduation and a brief period at the Ewing Presbyterian Church in Trenton, New Jersey, I returned to the West Coast and received a master's degree in Radio and Television Production from San Francisco State University. As that program was being completed I received a call to the Lakeside Presbyterian Church in San Francisco, where I served as the senior pastor from 1975 to 1986. Along with the usual pastoral and administrative responsibilities (we had three ordained clergy and two interns on staff when I left) I had two weekly radio broadcasts. We also broadcasted our Sunday services via closed circuit television to hospitals and cable stations. In 1986 my wife and I went cross country again, this time in order to obtain a master's degree from The Annenberg School of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. My first contract as Interlink Media, in 1988, was with the Council on Theological Education producing their fundraising video for seminaries.
My time in the parish ministry convinced me that Christian education and officer training require bringing the best of technology into adult education and Sunday School classrooms. I introduced "John Calvin" in his hi-tech role as teacher of an officer training video series in 1990, and since that time over 5,000 congregations and hundreds of thousands of lay people have benefitted from "Calvin's" wisdom. We recently digitized portions of that video series for DVD and added several significant video clips. This latest version of "Across The Centuries" may be purchased on this site or through Cokesbury, or may be borrowed from your presbytery resource Center.
Television production is a team sport.
My cameramen also shoot the Super Bowl or the broadcast news you see on network television.
My writers have worked for NBC (national and international), on Hollywood films, and on six figure budgets for corporate trade shows.
The Art Institute of Philadelphia, where I serve on the Multimedia Web Advisory Board, trains our artists.
We edit on the same system as Pixar Films: Final Cut Pro.
We're located in the center of historic Haddonfield, New Jersey, 20-minutes from downtown Philadelphia or a 20-minute drive from the Philadelphia International Airport.
Our "office," a lovely renovated house built in 1835, is cozy yet highly functional. And, we are the envy of the village with our free parking for clients.
When you want visuals to illustrate, to teach, and to persuade, and if your messages or products will in some way illumine the human venture, we would enjoy working with you.
Please contact me to discuss your projects.
